Based in Paris, France, the French automobile manufacturer Citroen was founded in 1919 by a Mar Andre Citroen. In the beginning the company was responsible for producing mass amounts of cars with simple but effective designs. The companies flexibility for car design came in 1934 when it shocked the marketplace by introducing the ’Traction Avant’ model – the industries first front wheel drive car. Since then they have gone onto build some extremely appealing and innovative brands of cars, which has captured the eyes of many drivers all over Europe. Some of their more popular models of today include the Citroen ‘Saxo’, ‘Xsara’ and the ‘C’ range, which include the C1, C2, C3 and C4, all of which have been met with approval from those in the automotive market.
